The Scorpion Queen by Alexis Ke is an erotic novella about a queen, Scorpathia, who wonders about the purpose of her life and Gabriel who seeks his dream woman. Gabriel sets out on a quest upon his trusty steed, Dex, to find the woman who has been reaching out to him dreams knowing they are more powerful together than apart.
Gabriel traverses through mountains all fear to tread to reach his mysterious dream lover in her mythical kingdom. He finally comes upon Scorpathia while she and her people are battling the Lupi.
The first couple of attempts the couple make to bond themselves together are thwarted by her Protector. Despite that, the pair grow close together in a short amount of time. The author is able to pack a plot full in a short amount of time with interesting characters, action, love, and loyalty.
