Falling Hard

Falling Hard by J.K. Coi is about a famous rock star who has had a hard life and has played hard. Throughout his life he has had to continually battle his inner demons to stay humane. One night after a successful concert, his best friend is killed while he was saved by his guardian angel, Amelia. She witnessed and fought in the battle to save his life. Because Gabriel is now under serious attack by a faction of angels that have gone bad, Amelia must stick close to him in order to keep him alive and keep the secret that lives in him concealed. The more time they spend together, the more the attraction they feel towards each other grows.

It took me quite a while to complete this review because I did not enjoy this adventure and it was difficult for me to write this. The plot sounds very exciting and engaging; and to a certain degree, it was. However, the best thing I can affirm is that Falling Hard by J.K. Cod had a strong finish. Nevertheless, getting there seemed to take forever. The hero and the heroine did not engender a connection on any level for me. I am not sure if it was the delivery of the story. If you enjoy paranormal romances about angels, you should give this book a try. You might enjoy it more than I did.

My rating:

Happy Reading from Bona Fide Reflections!!

Sorry to hear you didn't like it. I actually really enjoyed this book. Haven't written my review of yet though. Oh well, we can't all like the same things. One of my favorite series is a paranormal series about angels (Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series):D
